Well, it’s that time of the week where I round up my favourites from the huge range of things to do in Essex this weekend. It’s a bumper bank holiday edition!
I can’t quite believe its the end of August already! Having booked nearly a year ago, I’m spending this weekend at Thunder in the Glens in Aviemore in Scotland. I’m not convinced the weather will quite be up to Essex standards but it’s my first experience of the largest Harley Davidson rally in the UK.
Bikers from all around the world descend on the MacDonald Resort in Aviemore for the event. Along with ride outs, there is lots of entertainment and the whole of Aviemore gets involved.
I’ll be blogging over the weekend and sharing my experience (along with Millie’s dog friendly tips too) and may even explain how on earth a beach hut owner ended up at a bikers rally!!
If you are staying closer to home, enjoy the beautiful sunshine and do let me know if you try any of my suggested things to do in Essex this weekend.
